Here is some quick background on this quote, AIG lost 65 Billion dollar in the last quarter and had to be bailed out by the American taxpayers to the tune of 170 Billion dollars. When asked about the 176 million dollars in bonuses they are paying out, here is the quote:
“We cannot attract and retain the best and brightest talent to lead and staff the AIG businesses”
Now that is a funny quote!
